When you want to start tracking a goal in Plausible Analytics, the first thing that you need to do is to add it to the Plausible dashboard.
Go ahead and click on the website’s address and then go to site settings:
Then head over to the Goals section.
If you haven’t added goals yet, you should see the following:
Click the “Add goal” button and select Custom Event.
In the Event Name input field, enter the name of the goal that you want to track.
We will use that goal name when configuring events.
While you are there, we suggest adding the following goals:
- Download
- Email Link
- Link
